DRIVING TO VIRGINIA TECH

From Interstate 81 to the Holiday Inn, Blacksburg, VA:

1. Take I-81 to Exit 118B (Christiansburg/Blacksburg) Route 460/ Virginia Tech
2. Follow Route 460 Bypass for approximately 10 miles.
3. Take the Downtown-Prices Fork exit on 460.
4. Pass through the University Boulevard and Prices Fork Road intersection.  Right after, the Holiday Inn will be on the left.

From Interstate 81, directly to Squires Student Center:

1. Take I-81 to exit 118B (Christiansburg/Blacksburg) to Route 460/Virginia Tech.
2. Follow Route 460 Bypass (Stay on 460 Bypass- do not take any exits from 460 until you come to a traffic light on the 460 Bypass)
3. At the traffic light, turn RIGHT onto Southgate Drive(This is the main Virginia Tech entrance and is also marked for “Athletic Complex”
4. Take the first LEFT onto Duck Pond Drive
5. Take the first RIGHT onto Washington Street
6. Proceed STRAIGHT through the roundabout
7. Proceed down Washington Street, past Cassell Coliseum (which will be on your right), to the 4-way stop.
8. Turn LEFT onto Kent Street
9. Follow Kent Street past the University Bookstore, where you will then merge onto Drillfield Drive

10.  IMMEDIATELY, take the first RIGHT onto the Alumni Mall (directly across from the Pylons of the University Chapel)

11.  Squires Student Center will be on your RIGHT

12.  Pull into the DESIGNATED UNLOADING ZONE (just paps the BT bus stop).  Unload ONLY in the designated unloading zone.  Volunteers will be on hand to carry your materials to your booth.  We ask that you simply unload your vehicle, tell a volunteer your company name, then return to your vehicle and follow the directions below for parking your vehicle in the Chicken Hill Lot.

ONCE YOU’VE UNLOADED and are READY TO PARK:

From Squires Student Center to the Chicken Hill Lot:

1. Depart from the Squires Student Center BH Unloading Area (Alumni Mall) and proceed on the one-way Alumni Mall, toward Main Street
   1. At the STOP light, turn RIGHT onto Main Street
   2. Take the first RIGHT onto College Avenue
   3. Follow to the end for 4/10 of a mile
   4. Turn RIGHT onto Washington Street and proceed straight through the 4-way stop at Kent Street
   5. Take the first LEFT onto Spring Road(Just past Cassell Coliseum)
   6. Go by Lane Stadium (on your left) and STRAIGHT through the light on Southgate Drive
   7. The Chicken Hill Lot is IMMEDIATELY on the LEFT>  IT is the gravel lot across Southgate Drive at Lane Stadium.  Chicken Hill Lot is the designated BH employer parking lot for the day of the fair.  Shuttle vans will run from the Chicken Hill parking lot back to Squires.
